CTO / PROJECT MANAGER
As CTO and member of the Executive Board, I was responsible for the areas of software development and operations. I was involved in the long-term strategic direction of the company in these areas and played an active role in shaping product management. I was responsible for 15 employees and had a budget of 1.5 million p.a.
The complex project I led during my tenure was the redevelopment of Datasport’s three main applications. This included the portal for managing sports events and their participants, an athlete registration portal and the presentation and archiving
of real-time results. I’ve designed the cloud architecture based on microservices, supported the requirements engineering and formed and led the agile development team. I evaluated and managed the nearshore and offshore partners. With my Java, DevOps and Docker knowledge, I have repeatedly supported and also developed prototypes to evaluate innovative ideas and put them into practice. The new system is a success and is already being used by the majority of Datasport’s customers.
PRODUCT OWNER
In my role as Product Owner of the SwissID in the Product Management Team, I was the link between the management and the Product Managers and two development teams. It was therefore necessary to have strong communication skills at C-level.
As Scrum Product Owner, I was responsible for the web, mobile and nearshore development teams (19 developers in total). In close coordination with stakeholders and development teams, I planned the cycles and individual sprints to ensure continuous and efficient development. I was also responsible for release management.
My tasks also included budget planning for the product and the continuous optimisation of work processes in order to increase the efficiency and quality of product development. Due to strict compliance requirements, adherence to legal regulations and safety standards was of paramount importance. I ensured that the product met all relevant compliance requirements as specified by the compliance department.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT
I was responsible for recording requirement definitions for a digital signing service that was to be used in both the B2B and B2C sectors. I also evaluated various software solutions and suppliers. Finally, I brought the management of the company to a decision.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
I was hired by SwissSign to take over and finalize the SwissId 3.0 IAM project. I got the project up and running again. Shortly afterwards, I was able to go live with the team and introduce the product to the first customer.
PRODUCT OWNER
I toke over the project as product owner and finalized the product. I was able to actively participate in the go-live, work out the definition of life cycle management and hand over the application to application management.
